What we collect
When you request a free listing check, we collect your email address and your eBay store name or username. If you purchase a repair, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your payment details — we never see or store your card number. If you later connect an eBay account through eBay's official sign-in, we receive your eBay user ID and an access authorization; we store that authorization encrypted. We do not collect or store your eBay password, ever.
What we do with it
We use your store name to read your publicly visible active listings — the same pages any buyer can view — to identify broken images, dead template references, and policy issues. We use your email to send your report and correspond about repairs. If you authorize account access, we use it only to read listing details and to make the specific listing revisions you approve. Before any revision, we save a copy of the original description so it can be restored.
What we don't do
We do not sell or rent your information. We do not store buyer data. We do not make changes to your listings without your explicit approval. We do not send marketing email beyond ListMend updates you can opt out of in one click.
Retention and deletion
Listing snapshots and reports are retained while your account is active and for 90 days after cancellation, then deleted. If eBay notifies us that your eBay account has been closed or deleted, we delete the associated data promptly. You can request deletion of everything we hold about you at any time by emailing hello@listmend.com.
Third parties
We use Stripe for payments and standard hosting infrastructure to run the service. These providers process data only as needed to provide their services to us.
