Do you need my eBay password?

Never. The free check reads only your public listing pages. Repairs run through eBay's own tools with you, or through eBay's official developer sign-in — where you grant access on eBay's site and can revoke it any time. Anyone who asks for your actual password should be shown the door.

Can this break my listings?

Every original description is saved before any change, and you see a preview first. If you ever dislike a repair, any listing can be restored to exactly how it was, in one click.

Will this affect my search ranking or sales history?

We revise descriptions only — the same action as editing a listing yourself in Seller Hub. Item IDs, sales history, feedback, and watchers are untouched. Listings with bids or ending within 12 hours are automatically deferred until they can be safely revised.

I already moved to another listing tool. Do I still have a problem?

Very possibly. Migrating tools doesn't rewrite your old descriptions — listings created during the InkFrog era usually still reference its dead servers, no matter what tool you use now. The free check will tell you either way.

My listings are Good 'Til Cancelled. Doesn't eBay fix them on renewal?

No — GTC renewal re-publishes the listing exactly as it is, broken references included. That's why damage from services that died years ago is still live today.
